Seen here (13yrs) sitting on the lawn under the Cedar tree at the back of The Wing. This part of the grounds was out-of-bounds until about 1950. As can be surmised from the net, badminton was played here.

On the left is the entrance to the boy's dining room. The left bottom windows were for the kitchen, right bottom for boys bathroom.

1956 : In the sunken garden (recently restored by the boys).

Sixth formers at the Roan School wore black double-breasted blazers with elaborate badge. Younger pupils wore a green single-breasted blazer.
